Recharging Battery too often

My Arlo HD camera battery seems to require recharging sooner than I thought. Was there some firmware update that fixed a problem with the motion detector always on even when the camera is off.

There were many over the past two months. I dont think its right even as of now. My batteries are fine but motion detection got really weak. Even at 100% it misses way too much. Ive had these cameras over a year and i can tell you they rarely work right for more than a few months at a time. Waste of money
