Arlo Pro for people maxs out at about 25 ft out...

Have you attempted to re-adjust the sense levels in your mode ??? ( mode/edit ) Higher is more sense.

Hello Arlo Community,

I recently purchased ARLO Pro camera and have noticed that after 'Firmware' update, the cameras are sending alerts only when motion is within 5 to 7 feet range. I understand that motion upto 30 feet should trigger an alert and send out notification.

Does anyone has recommendation to fix this issue?

Yes, Motion sensitivity is set at 100 %.
Additionally, infrared light is not detecting any motion.

Infrared light does not detect motion, it simply helps the cameras see in the dark.

I have my cameras at either 95% or 100% sensitivity. People get picked up 20-25 feet no problem, I've also picked up cars from my garage camera at 50-60 feet. My cats, since they are smaller get picked up at about 15 feet.

Check this article out for cameras positioning.
