Inserted Toshiba 16GB USB into base station for backup. The light on the USB continues to flash nonstop. In other devices, it flashes only during data transfer. Is this normal when used in an Arlo base station?

Thanks for the reply. BTW the previous plugin was in USB 1 on the base station. The USB was FAT 32 formatted prior to the initial insertion. Then safely removed USB. Confirmed FAT 32 format. Reinserted in USB 1 and reformatted using Arlo base station. Arlo file was present on the previous post and was also created after the second format. Safely removed USB and inserted in USB 2 on the base station. Armed system and triggered one of the cameras. Arlo successfully recorded onto the USB. Safely removed USB from base station and inserted in Windows 10 laptop. Successfully viewed recorded video and sound. (USB not flashing (blinking) while plugged into laptop and not being accessed). Safely removed USB from laptop and inserted in USB 2 on base station. Immediately began flashing and has continued nonstop. Just a Toshiba USB in an Arlo Pro base station thing?????

You might consider contacting Toshiba and finding out if this is normal expected behavior for that USB stick.
