The charging source connected to the camera cannot charge your battery. Please use an Arlo power adapter. We just got the cameras and one of them comes up with this message. We have the camera attached to the solar panel with all Arlo equipment shipped with the camera and solar panel. The camera is not in a location that can remove and replace the battery. It does not seem to record when that message shows up on the screen. Help please.

Try to check if the battery level is at 100%. Also, you may need to check if the solar panel will work with other camera to further isolate the problem.

It charged to 100% yesterday with the solar panel and now is slowly going down in charge since the message appeared.

Unfortunately, it's probably going to require a trip to the camera. The connections on the solar panel need to be checked. It's possible that they're not fully seated, especially at the panel itself and/or water has infiltrated into the connection.
