Live viewing triggers recording

Anyone experiencing this again?

It was an earlier (over a year ago) issue reported, supposedly fixed, but just getting it with one of my cams. Recording is triggered during/right after live viewing, only at night with NV on.

I read a lot of posts about this, all from a year ago, none current. Just wondering whether opening a case and requesting a RMA is still only option available.

Haven't seen this issue before but I actually would like for me cameras to record or continue recording when I hit the live view button.
A long time ago, I had the issue with one of my Arlo HD where logging into the account would trigger a recording but that hasn't happened for ages.

Oh, is it happening during live viewing or after?

Most often right after live viewing, only if let on for more than 20-30 secs. might also do it during. It was widely reported by many users, but haven’t seen anything about it lately. Don’t know whether it ever got fixed......in any other ways instead of returning it for exchange by NG. Cam is only three months old, cannot return it to store, but still under warranty.

Got RMA set for camera replacement, considered to be a hardware issue with some H8 units.
