Netgear Arlo Pro do not react on movement when positioned behind window

Model VMS4330

Tried several times but with no result - the cameras do not react on movement (initiate recording) when positioned behind window. Is that correct or do I miss some settings feature?

That is correct, they will not work behind glass. You should probably purchase the Q Plus for that.

In the app they will both show, but the Q Plus does not need a Base station. It is a standalone product and works directly off the wifi.

Bear in mind, currently Arlo is having problems with the Activity Zones in the Q Plus and a couple of other cameras and is working to resolve the issue. Hopefully it will be resolved in the next couple of days.

Arlo, Arlo Pro, Arlo Pro 2 are designed to be positioned outside. They use PIR detection to detect motion and glass blocks IR signals. Arlo Q and Baby run off pixel detection so will work through glass
