Grant Access expires weekly

When granting access to two cell phones for texting it says pending for 3 or 4 days and works. However then it expires weekly and must resend invite. When a message is received it has no option to accept etc. and continues to expire weekly. How is this resolved?

Are both phones using the same account for logging in? Usually each phone is set up using a different email account.

The invitation expires if not accepted within the time frame. When you send an invitation, a link will be sent to the entered email address.

The instructions in the email must then be followed using the provided link to created the shared user account. After the process has been completed successfully, the "pending invitation" within Grant Access will change to "Accepted".
