Confused: does the camera continuously record during motion

I understand that I can adjust recording time upon sensing motion. If after the allotted recording time ends and there is still motion will it again start to record and continue on that loop as long as motion continues?

Yes, but there is a lag between it finishing recording and resetting itself to be ready to detect motion again. Some say 15-30 seconds. Not ideal but it's the way it is

Yes.. the quickest I've seen it reset lately is about 10 secs... so it is important to set your record time for each location and how you think people will interact with same.
