There are some youtube video's showing the differences. They did improve the motion detection in the Pro's. If you set them up with Netgear's recommendation about trying to have them pointed in a direction where the objects enter from the sides, the recording has been near instant for me.

I currently have the wireless Arlo's for my home but am moving soon to a new place and the new owner wants to keep them.

Overall I was very happy with the normal Arlo wireless cams apart from the motion detection. It often started recorded a bit too late, after the object had left the camera viewing angle.

Is there any change to this with the Arlo Pro - will motion detection in normal daylight function better ? (I can see something about Infrared but don't know if that it only a benefit in nighttime).

Thanks a lot.
