Sounds like you need to learn about modes and rules. There are FAQs here that step you through this completely. If you only need it temporarily, you can use the Disarmed mode which will not record on any camera. Beyond that you'll need to create your own custom modes.

Yes, but if your not recording ( unless your live viewing ) it may as well be disarmed

I understand a little about how the modes work. I made my own custom mode earlier. Basically ive got one indoor camera that i wont disarmed while home or at least to not record and send notifications while im at home and i still wont my outside cameras on. Ive read a little about the geofencing and i think i figired out how to make an away and home mode so while im away all cams work and when i get home i can disable the insode cam. I see the options in the mode for me to turn the recording off to the inside cam but when i go to uncheck all notifications it wont let me save it. Is there a way i can go into the disarmed mode and just disarm that camera and make it work or how can i disarm it within my custom at home mode?

Any camera that does NOT have a rule is disarmed. A rule is used to allow a camera to record. So, for your Home mode, you would have only the outside cameras with rules.
