Yes I have used both app and computer. It's crazy that the signal won't go through the door or window. The camera is right outside the door and the base is on the inside of the door. But as soon as I bring the camera inside it connects with no issues.

My Arlo Pro is placed right outside of my front door and when I try to live stream it, it will not work. Its gives me the "request timed out". I thought maybe the base was to far away at 15 ft. I moved it to where it is only 5 feet away from the camera and still to no avail "request timed out." So any suggestions would be great before i decide to pack them up and return them.

Have you tried both the app and browser to see if one works properly? If using the app, have you tried both cell and WiFi service?

The issue with the connection is anyplace between your device, the servers and the base. Consistent issues would seem to be relative to your device but not necessarily.

That could be for a variety of reasons. A metallic film on the window, dense wall material, wiring, ductwork, etc. all get in there. What if you move it a couple/few feet to either side of the current location - any luck? Bring it inside again and try various locations with varying distances to see if the symptom recurs. Swap cameras to see if stays with the position or the camera.

To no avail nothing worked. I appreciate the quick responses for help. I really hoped these cameras would have worked. I unfortunately had to return them. Didn't want to run a wire to a camera, but looks like the totally wireless isn't all the way there yet. On to the next.
