I did try the battery replacement and it did not correct the issue. As I do need night vision for this particular camera, I ended up to the store and they gave me a new replacement one. The new one works like a charm; problem solved.

Hi, one of my 6 cameras drains battery very fast. I swapped the location with another camera and still the faulty one drains fast. I noticed that all the red LEDs (I guess it has to do with movement detection) stay on for very long periods of time. I also tried to delete it from the system and re-sync it, twice (without success). Do I need a case number for this?

Try remove and replace the battery to reset the camera.

The IR leds should only be coming on after dark. If you suspect this is the cause then try and turn night vision off for this camera to see if the situation improves.

If all of this fails, then yes open a case.
