How do I adjust recording length?

Hi,

New user..Can't find the answer in the guide.

When I check my Library of recordings, they are all only 10 seconds long. Is there a setting I need to adjust to see the entire recording?

You can personalize your Arlo cameras to record videos from approximately 10 to 120 seconds long. To adjust video recording length, choose the camera you want update, and edit the Camera’s Rules.

To adjust video recording length:

Tap the Arlo app on your mobile device. You can also enter arlo.netgear.com in the address bar of a browser.
Click or tap Mode.
Click or tap the base station or camera that you want to adjust.
Click or tap the pencil icon next to the mode that you want to edit.
Note: The Disarmed and Scheduled Modes do not apply in this case. Only active modes such as the Armed mode can adjust recording length.
Click or tap your preferred edit or pencil icon under Rules.
Click or tap the pencil icon next to Record Video.
Note: Record Video must be enabled to edit recording length.
Move the Slider Controlto your preferred recording length.
Click or tap Back.
Click or tap Save.
Your recording length is updated.

I move the slider but I don't get a done or back button, so I can't save the changes

Any idea why?

Assuming that you're changing this in your modes, look at the top left of the screen for a Back link. Save is on the previous page.

If are accessing your devices from a computer (not the App) and you can't find the "Save" button, once you've adjusted the length of time as described above, at the top of the screen you will see a greyed out "Edit Rule" just tothe left of "Recording Settings." Click "Edit Rule" and it wil take you to a screen where you will find the green save button at the bottom of the screen. Click the save button. 🙂

Make sure your timezone is properly set in Settings, My Devices, your base.

The default is 10 secs...yes you can make them longer up to 2 mins. ( edit the time in the mode you arm with )
