I have Arlo Pro. How do I look at video on the external drive from a month or two ago?

I have an external hard drive connected 24/7 to my Arlo Pro base unit. I have the wireless cameras and need to look up videos from a month or two ago. How can I retrieve these? Thank you!

You'll need to eject the HDD from the base station and plug it into your computer. View the recorded videos with VLC

It will be good if the base has built in smb so I can just access via my pc

No, it does not. You must unmount the drive to view and manage videos stored there. A thumb drive is generally much easier to work with than a hard drive.
