Arlo Pro turn off push notifications when at home but still record?!

Hello there friends,

I'm finding it really hard to believe that this option isn't here but is there any way around it?

Of course I always want to record movements but I don't want push notifications when I'm at home. Surely there must be a way to solve this?!

There is. You need to set up a separate recording MODE for when you're at home and in the rules, turn off the push notifications. Then use the Geofencing mode where you can use ARMED or whatever you're using with push notifications when you're away from home and use your new custom mode when you're at home.

Well now that I added my wifes phone to the geofencing things didn't work out as I expected!

I'm outside the zone and she's at home "in the zone" but the activated mode is "away-mode"...

Is there any solution to this?

Yes!

The problem was solved but disabling geofencing for both our units and then saving. Then turned it back on with both devices!
