    <description>&lt;P&gt;Preventing unusual damage will always be problematic. Putting the camera in a cage of some sort may help.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I would try wiping a thin coat of silicone rubber carefully over the punctures.&amp;nbsp; Try not to spread it over the PIRs (not sure if it would block the IR needed for motion detection).&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Mounted outside on tree red-headed woodpecker decides to peck on the gray bottom plate of face...still operational but has several punctures into that area.... replacement in order and need ideas to protect from animal damage..&lt;/P&gt;</description>
