No option to edit mode

I can't turn on push notifications for ios. I'm an added friend to our account with full access granted. I click on Mode and the shared device and I have no edit options (pencil icon) for Armed or Disarmed.

Push notifications have been turned on for the app in the phone settings.

You need to have the "Allow Access rights" toggle enabled under Grant Access on the primary account in order to edit a mode/rule. Check your Grant Access settings on the primary account and be sure access rights is toggled on.

Allow access rights is on. That was the first thing we checked.

I apologize for the confusion, to edit a mode/rule you must be logged in to the primary account. This cannot be done from a friend account. Take a look here for a list of privileges available to shared accounts: What privileges do my friends have when I grant them access rights in my Arlo account?
