When I enter the arlo address to open the program on my MacBook this sits in the Safari addressbar:

https://arlo.netgear.com/#/cameras

indefinitely. The screen shows the bird flying on the screen with the word ARLO...but the program never opens past that point. When I try the very same address with IE 10 the program opens.

Sounds like a Safari-specific issue. Make sure it's updated. Also, try going to just the Arlo home page (Devices) using https://arlo.netgear.com. Does it work differently?

For those having an issue with Safari, take a look at this article outlining how to enable flash player. Please let me know if this resolves the issue: Enabling Flash Player on Safar
