arlo pro synchronizing

I Just received my arlo pro camera set, but i cant seem to sync. the camera's to the base station. i followed all the steps in the manual, and I even did a factory reset. after the reset the sync Light on the base station remains amber. when i pushen down the sync button, non of the camera's seem to be responding

Let's start fresh. Remove any devices found in Settings, My Devices. Press only the reset button on the base until the LEDs flash amber. Let the base initialize so you see the power and Internet LEDs turn green. Use the Add Device button to add the base and try syncing the cameras again. Verify that your firmware versions are up to date by comparing what is listed for each device in Settings, My Devices, your base/cameras, Device Info to what is shown in the Release Notes section here. Update as needed, which should be an automatic prompt.
