You're best to try and reposition the camera where it won't see cars or the cars will be far away. One of the downsides to PIR detection unfortunately

PIR Motion Sweet Spot?

Is there such thing as a sweet spot? The center of the screen? I'm getting too many cars and not enough people. I know a car is warmer and a lot bigger than a person but is there a sweet spot so I can fix my motion to detecting people walking by?

GearNetRouter,

Motion detection works best when it is side to side (across the cameras field of view). Take a look here for positioning tips: How do I position my Arlo Wire-Free or Arlo Pro Wire-Free camera?
