Hi!

Plan to put Arlo in the car.

Have two questions:

1) can the Arlo Base Station to stand in the car in cold weather and if so, what temperature will be able to withstand ( I'm in Canada!);

2) a set of Arlo advise (which camera to choose and what accessories)?

If you put an Arlo base in a car and run Arlo or Arlo Pro cameras, it WILL NOT WORK !

First the base unit requires an ethernet port to function ( which is possible with a hotspot cellular unti that has an ethernet port , but not likely )

Second, the arlo and arlo Pro do not detect motion thru glass...you wil not get any recordings.

If you need a camera that will work in a car, you have only the Q camera as a choice... which will detect thru glass ...but you have to hook it to your home wifi ( if it reaches ) or as above, a wifi hotspot with cellular that it can connect to.
