The best lag time is about 2 seconds. Longer than that implies either a positioning issue or possibly a WiFi connectivity issue between the camera and base (distance, WiFi quality due to interference, obstructions within walls and ceilings, etc.). Try temporarily moving the camera to a different spot, perhaps near the base, to see if things change. If you have multiple cameras, swap them around to see if the issue stays with the camera or location.

Hello,

I noticed there is a delay when my Arlo Pro cameras record. Is this normal? At least 5-10 seconds before it start recording.
