Turning off email alerts and mobile notifications on a shared account?

My husband is the owner of the Arlo Pro, and he shared it with me. How the heck can I turn OFF email notifications AND mobile notifications? Does HE have to log into HIS account to do this? The answer I keep seeing on the community board is to go to mode, base station and click "pencil" to find notifications. THIS IS NOT AN OPTION ON MY ACCOUNT!!! Thank you!

Email can be turned off for shared users...but pushes are either all on or all off

the other option for you is to go into the app setting ( thru phone settings )and shut off all alerts for the Arlo app
