I recently tried a mode with the following rules:

- If motion on A, record on A as long as motion is detected

- If motion on B, record on A as long as motion is detected

- If motion on A, record on B as long as motion is detected

- If motion on B, record on B as long as motion is detected.

With such a ruleset, both cameras should have an identical set of recordings (same timestamps, same durations). However, that was clearly not the case, with several recordings missing on each of the feed, and motion events missed altogether.

Using single-camera rules works fine.

Firmware: Base=1.8.10.1_13433, Cameras: 1.092.0.4_13099

Looks like there is a bug in the triggering software. Anyone else noticed this?

Are the sensitivity or duration settings different for the cameras? Some users have experienced issues when these settings are not consistent across all cameras.

They are identical (100% motion 4/5 audio, record as long as they are detected) on all cameras/rules.

Yes, I've experienced it too. Looks like two of us now. A couple more people and maybe Arlo will take a look at this issue and come up with a fix. For now, I have all my cams setup independently.

Try setting the recording time to be static rather than while motion continues.

jguerdat wrote:
Try setting the recording time to be static rather than while motion continues.

That would seriously diminish the usefulness of the system. I like that I can simply look for videos with durations significantly above the short 5-8secs ones triggered by casual movements.
