My system deleted videos I need for legal purposes from July 21, 2017. I did not physically delete these videos. Please tell me there is a way I can retrieve them?

If you are on a free, basic subscription, you will know that all videos are only available for 7 days. If you have important videos, it is prudent for you to download them to your computer or device.

In your situation, there is a possible option that MIGHT work. No promises. If you upgrade your subscription to the Premier or Elite plans, you MAY find that the previous videos are available again as these plans allow the videos to be kept for 30-60 days.

Also, given you've said these will be for legal purposes, please note that the name of the file you download is a Unix time and date stamp. Do NOT change the name of the files or make any changes to them or you'll make the time stamp invalid. Good luck. Let us know if it works if you decide to try it

Plug in a USB memory stick in your base and all your recordings will go to the stick and cloud so if they are deleted in cloud the stick will still have them.

A great idea for the future but unfortunately this won't help them get their videos from the 21st of July
