Hi everyone,

I have a 300mg external memory device on my arlo pro base station. Does anyone know how to use the external memory and save clips onto the external memory?

Go to settings. Click on your base and enable local storage.

Thanks I understand how to connect format and find the device in settings. I want to know how to add clips manually into the external device

Recordings are automatically stored to the external device and to the cloud.
Under what circumstances would you want to manually save clips to this device?

Sweet thx! I'm assuming once memory runs out the oldest files will be overwritten?

There's an automatic overwrite box that you can select or not as you wish.

What happens if u don't select the automatic overwrite box?
