    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have smartthings (ST) but don't use the full integration where ST handles full control of the cameras and records to the samsung cloud instead of the arlo cloud. Basically, my low level of integration allows lights to turn on inside and outside of the house when motion is detected by the arlo cameras between certain hours of the night. Arlo and smartthings have direct integration&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>i assume you use the Arlo base then.&lt;BR /&gt;Why should one buy and have installed two things (smartthings hub and Arlo base) instead of the hub only?&lt;BR /&gt;Can I still use the Arlo service without the Arlo base?&lt;BR /&gt;Is Arlo service better?&lt;BR /&gt;This is the point of my post</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Oh right. Totally misunderstood you. Arlo wirefree and Arlo Pro cameras MUST use the Arlo base station. You cannot pair one of these cameras with any other hub&lt;/P&gt;</description>
