Local storage is a massive improvement over just the net.

Perhaps netgear do this to gain more money???

Please seriously consider this new idea

Thanks for the reply but the idea was for the Arlo not Pro.

the fact there are two USB ports suggests that they are for for future expansion out I don't see anything about how to do this

i required a totally wire free and the Arlo Pro didn't match my requirements so to be told the Arlo Pro can do it is not helpful

the link supplied does not open on an ipad

anymore ideas?

To stay with the Arlo platform will require a Pro base to use local storage. There's no way around it. We've been told that storage using the original base will never happen.
