Motion Detection not working as expected

Motion detection recording is not happening quick enough. I have the motion detection set at 100% and the camera is at a 45 degree angle to the door 6 feet away. I never record the approach of the person. I only get the back of thier head as they leave. How can this be fixed?

Rotate down for starters. Concentrate on the door and a bit of driveway.
