Solar panel doesn't work with black Arlo base!!! WHY!?

I just went in the tree to install my Arlo solar charger and my black Arlo OEM base isn't compatible with the solar charger because of the USB cable... I really don't want to buy another base if I already have one, does anyone know a workaround for this, can I buy just the plastic tip that is compatible? Please pardon the sap from the tree..

I believe Netgear will send you the smaller "nut" if you ask. It may be white though.

Yes, there was a part change on the mounts to a smaller lock wheel

A simple fix is a plain 1/4-20 nut placed on the threaded portion to do the same thing
