Question: Thinking of buying the Arlo Pro. But when they mention 7 days recording. Does Netgear deleted the oldest day or all 7 days at once get delete at beginning of each week? Also what happen if you have lots of camera running all the time and your space is big vs sensor camera does that get recorded for 7 days?

First the storage is 7 ROLLING days... on day #8, day #1 is auto deleted.... Day#9, day2 is deleted...etc.

Second, there ( tho mentioned ) is no storage limit...the 1Gb has not been enforce in almost two years.

Third, buy your self a 10gb speed stick and for the PRO kit, you can plug it into the Pro base and have a back up record ( same videos that go to the cloud with out any being deleted )... you'll have room for months.

Thank You. That is big decision maker there. Is it possible to have both ARLO Pro and ARLO Q or ARLO Q Pro in the system system?

While ALL the cameras will appear in the prgm/app, the ARLO/ARLO are really separate from the Q camera. **Remember your limit is still 5 cameras total on the Basic (free) level

What this means is that you ARM the Base unit ( and all cams synced to it ) as one unit, ...then you also will have to arm the Q as a separate unit

You can't arm them as one.

Also ONLY cams synced to the base can use the usb backup record, so If you go with a Q , its NG..

the Q Plus has the option for a mem card that is for backup

Some find this as a con, I see it as a Plus ...it gives two schedules and arming modes ( Arlo & Q )... I run my Q cam very diif than the Arlos.

With the ARLO PRO. When they meant 2 way talk. Does that get recorded with the video? Just wondering or it only record video and no sound. Thanks

Audio can be recorded. When manually recording and using the push to talk feature, audio picked up by camera will be recorded, but not audio being transmitted to the camera.
