I was advised to submit these items to the community so the Arlo technical staff and other users can review and take them into consideration.
• The motion and infrared distance should be greater than 23-25 feet; increase to at least 50 feet.
• The manual recording time should be longer than 30 minutes; increase to at least 60 minutes.
• The manual recording should continue to record even after the viewing device (cell/tablet/computer) goes to sleep, window minimizes, or screen darkens.
• The manual recording sound should be able to be muted or lowered for privacy reasons but should still be able to be retrievable at full sound when downloaded or viewed again.
• Camera microphone sound is too low, almost inaudible, when used with Android devices; increase the sound capability from the camera microphone or fix this issue with Android devices.
• Video recordings at a distance when zoomed can be distorted (pixel distortion) and cause a loss of legible detail; improve the ability of the camera to zoom and record at farther distances.
