The Arlo and Arlo PRO base run on 2.4ghz and if the base is within area of your home router, it will sellect the same channel ( on purpose )

Netgear techs have found that is the base is close and sitting on the same channel there are less collison issues with data flow.

If you must , for some reason , put you base on a diffeerent channel it must ba about 20ft or farther away from you home router.

OR as a temp fix... change you router channel, reboot the base ( may have to reset ) and the base should follow to the same channel... then change your router back to original. ( this will last only till the base unit resets or reboots )
