Can the speaker be used as a drive-thru unit with the customer not having to push any buttons using iPad as a receiver to respond is that a possibility

I guess it would be possible but likely not particularly satisfactory. Mobile devices have volume issues with the camera speaker since we can't adjust mic gain like we can do on a computer. Also, the distance a person needs to be to have adequate volume, especially outdoors with background noise, isn't very large.
