What distance should the arlo base station be from my wireless router.

I have noticed some lagging on my wireless since installing my arlo wireless camera's

A few feet would prob be minimum...my has been sitting 6 ft or so from my router without issues for 2 yrs.

Lagging could be due to the total thru-put of your system... do you know your data rate ; http://www.speedtest.net/

On the other hand, my base has always been mere inches from my router with no obvious issues.

Ok my speed test is good download 76 mbps upload 12mbps so it needs more investigating
