How can I receive alerts by text instead of emails which take 20 minutes to come in?

Do you really want txt messages or would you be happy with push notiifications?

First , understand how it works;

1)Pushes come at the start of the trigger event,...Camera detects motion, PUSH sent

2)Emails come at the end of the trigger/ recording... camera detects motion and recording starts for 30 secs( whatever you set for), After the 30+ secs an email goes out

If it takes 20 mins for an email to come, that's an issue with your email provider not Arlo... maybe you could use a different email/provider and test their time to send by adding another email to notify.

IF you really want SMS( text), messages, MOST cell phones companies allow you to use you phone number as an email address. But the SMS will only also come after the recording
