Alro Pro External Harddrive Playback Trouble

I have captured video on the external harddrive. However, when I go to play them on my Mac they are small and blurry with only volume.

The file is a .mp4 and the size deminsions are only 16 x 32.

The harddrive is brand new and it was formated when connected to the hub and before the video was recorded.

Has anyone else had this trouble? What should my next step be to troubleshoot?

It's usually the viewer. VLC is free and highly recommended. Make sure you keep it up to date to avoid future problems.
