Is it not possible to start a recording session through HomeKit?

Hi all

I use the motion sensors on camera to turn on light via Apple HomeKit.

then this function is active (during night) the camera don,t record but I can see in overview what triggered the motion sensor.

the camera works as expected during daytime.

it not possible to start a recording session I HomeKit.

any work around known to any of you?

Hey Zolden,

You can capture recordings by arming your Arlo camera through the Arlo app. Could you clarify further on what you're trying to accomplish using HomeKit?

Hi Jessica

The carmera etc. Is armed by geofencing and scheduled, have been working for a 6 months almost perfect.

I want the camera motion sensor to turn on the outdoor light via Apple HomeKit, it works but when active there is no stored movie in Arlo library, if I deactivate the HomeKit automation then there is movie in Alo library
