Is there a back log to add 2 way talk to echo show 2 and dots?
We’re all keen to have it since it’s api driven webhook and the function exists in the in house app , maybe it possible?

Why is the Doorbell not listed as an option when REQUIRED to select one to post here? Anyways, onto the real issue.
Despite the many concerns I’ve read here of getting the Arlo Doorbell to work with an Echo Dot, I’m going to assume it will work for me. Here’s my situation. Any feedback and suggestions appreciated.
I have an elderly tenant who wants to be able to chat with the delivery people. Not concerned with seeing the person. Unfortunately the iPhone is too difficult to handle. Will the Echo Dot be able to provide notification AND 2-way communication through the Echo without answering the iPhone?
Thank you.

Hi @TheFiddler,

To have your Echo Dot provide notification, you can refer to this article: How can I use my Arlo (Audio) Doorbell with Amazon Alexa? You will not be able to use two-way communication through Echo but only through your smartphone.
