I would like to use a smartthings contact sensor to capture a 20 second video after someone opens my back door. So far I can have the smartthings turn the camera on when the door opens, but its not taking any video. Any suggestions.

If you leave Arlo in the Armed Mode all the time and use Smartthings routines to turn individual or groups of cameras on, this is quite simple. Create a custom rule to trigger the camera to record when the sensor is activated. Just be sure that Arlo is armed and that camera is also on. You can use an existing routine or create a new one to turn the camera on/off whenever you want.
