That’s what You need:
1. Arlo Camera plus base
2. your Fire TV stick with voice remote control
3. smartphone with Alexa app
4. Arlo skill linked to alexa app
5. Fire TV linked in same network and amazon account like the Alexa app on your smartphone

Then it works. There is no need for an Alexa app on the fire-tv-stick

Hi, I initially got the firestick 2nd gen. I couldn't get it to work. I kept using a browser which then redirected me to download an app. I am new to amazon things, so where in the device do I go to download the app needed to view the cameras? Also, I don't have an echo. Do I need an echo to run this?

Thank you

If Amazon doesn't provide the app for Arlo, you can still use the browser for many things except live view which requires Flash. Use the browser menu to set it to use the desktop version of the Arlo website and ignore the Flash warning.
