A lot of people, myself included, are using the Samsung Smartthings hub. The nice thing about Smartthings is that there are many types and brands of sensors that will work to trigger the cameras to record.

Look into that. Stringify works with Smartthings. Your Arlo cameras will not work without the base station unless they are the Q, Q Plus or Baby cameras.

Hi, everybody,
Could you tell me, please, what equipment I will need to connect Arlo Pro 2 with some motion sensors via Stringify? I have Arlo cameras, Arlo base station. Do I only need to buy Stringify compatible motion sensors, or should also buy some base station-hub? And do I have to keep base station or everything will work via cloud?
Thanks
