View local storage remotely

Can someone walk me through how to configure my Arlo home base and TP Link Deco router to allow me to view my locally stored videos remotely.

In the case of the Deco, I think the best path is to set up a VPN server in the router - it supports both WireGuard and OpenVPN. Both will work, but I'd be inclined to go with WireGuard. TP-Link has some guides:

Once you get that working, you just turn on the VPN on your phone and you can see locally stored recordings.

Hi there. Thanks for this.

First problem I encounter is the under ‘More’, ‘Advanced’ there is no option ‘VPN Server’.

I am using the Deco X50 as my router.

This is not a router I own myself. I suggest trying the TP-link forum or TP-link support.
