I remember encountering this. My solution was to create an IFTTT module to disarm ARLO, which is changing mode to STANDBY. And then I linked up this IFTTT module to GH let the latter call it, when necessary.

I have recently stopped using automation, for some other unrelated reasons. I guess above should still work today.

Hope this helps.

Alex

Because the routines won't work on the Arlo app, I'm trying Google Home. I want two simple automations: At Home in the evening, and Standby in the morning. In the Google Home setup, I work my way through the setup until I get to "Action details" for the particular automation. There is a box to check for "Arm to" which drops down just two options: Arm Home mode and Arm Away mode. I set up the evening routine using Arm Away mode. But for the morning, standby routine, there is no Standby (or Unarm) option.

Is there a way to make it go into Standby mode? Or is this yet another dead end?
