Arlo Pro 4 motion notifications not appearing in Google Home / Google Assistant

I cannot get motion notifications to appear in Google Home / Google Assistant.

My Arlo account is linked to Google Home (instructions)
Based on these instructions I should have everything needed for motion notifications to appear in a Nest Hub Max
Motion notifications are working fine in the Arlo Android app
Voice notifications setting for the Arlo camera is enabled in the Google Home app

What am I doing wrong?

I am doing this with the Arlo Pro 4 camera and Google Nest Hub Max.

The only functionality I ever had available using google home was live viewing.

Same with Apple HomeKit but can’t get it to find my cameras anymore.

Yep, I have three Pro 4 cameras set up. They all show up in the Google Home app and the Nest Hub Max as devices, but no motion notifications ever sound or appear. Voice notifications are enabled for all of them. Motion notifications are working in the Arlo Android app.

I was very disappointed to learn that the Arlo Doorbell doesn't support motion notifications in Google Home, but at least the Pro 4 cameras were supposed to work. But it turns out they don't either. 😞

Sorry everyone. This was user error. I realized my problem was that my I have my cameras disarmed during the day and armed at night. I was looking for alerts on Google Home when the cameras were disarmed. Oops!
