Homekit remote access from external network

Hello all,

I have been able to live stream the cameras on HomeKit on same wifi network, or remotely from external network.

But then recently I am not able to do live stream anymore remotely via HomeKit, the cameras do not response. Once connect to the home wifi, the cameras are back on in Homekit

I am only do it via the arlo secure apps on iPhone. With HomeKit I got to be connected to the same wifi as the arlo kit in order to live stream.

I removed all arlo camera and base station from my HomeKit and add all over again - yet it still does not work.

Do you have an Apple TV or an Apple HomePod?

I'm not a homekit user, but my understanding is that you need one of the above devices for homekit to work remotely.
