SmartThings w/ ARLO Pro

I have two Arlo Pro cameras integrated with SmartThings. I want to use the motion sensor to trigger notifications and recording only when in Away and/or Night mode. When in home mode I don't want notifications or recordings. To accomplish this I created a custom rule in the SHM area to trigger when in Night and Away modes. The ST app does not send me the notifications if motion is detected but the ARLO app still does. I cannot edit the ST mode in ARLO to disable the notifications. I am guessing those are required to deliver to ST. If I check the camera status in ARLO it shows the cameras as armed. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is there a way to manage the notifications and recordings by mode through ST only?

I have a similar setup. I had to go into the notifications settings on my iPhone and turn off notifications from arlo.
