Google Assistant to arm/disarm Arlo

Hi all,

I've been using an IFTTT applet to enable me to arm and disarm my Arlo security cameras using Google voice commands but unfortunately it has stopped working and some of the new applets that are available do not seem to be working. I was wondering if anyone had a similar issue that they had overcome and were willing to share a solution. Many thanks

i think it's caused by https://ifttt.com/explore/google-assistant-changes . But I don't find out the solution so far.

Arm Arlo by "Hey Google, Activate Arm Arlo"

Disarm Arlo by "Disarm Arlo" (you need to setup the PIN from the Arlo app first.)

It is a bit of a workaround, but you can link your Arlo account to SmartThings then link SmartThings to Google Assistant. It will add each of your cameras to Google Assistant as "switches" which will allow you to activate and deactivate each camera independently.
