Long story short, this path has led me down the HomeKit route since our devices are all Apple.<BR /><BR />I don’t see a way to add an automation in HomeKit and choose a specific type of motion detected, only the general motion detected and thus picking up all triggers. For our specific situation, this doesn’t work, and I’m hoping I just didn’t see it in the right place.<BR /><BR />So, does anyone know if you can set up a HomeKit automation that uses a specific motion detection (person, car, animal) instead of the general motion detection option that triggers for anything?
