Hi AM3,

Make sure that you have the following the Base Station in order to use Apple HomeKit:

VMB5000: 1.14.0.9_137_8e45094
VMB4540: 1.15.0.2_371_f7780e1
VMB4500: 1.14.0.2_2777
VMB4000: 1.14.0.2_2776

Sorry! It is VMB3500. Can I still use Apple Home Kit? If not, do you have a upgrade program to upgrade my base station?
At the box, it is written - Arlo Pro 2. Which is compatible with Apple Home Kit however look like that is not true in my case.

The Arlo Pro 2 camera is compatible with Apple HomeKit but you will need to have the listed Base Station/SmartHub that is listed above to have it paired with Apple HomeKit.

Is the Arlo Base Station VMS 4230P compatible with HomeKit?

The VMS4230P uses the Arlo Pro Base Station (VMB4000) so yes, it is compatible with Apple HomeKit. You can read more about this here: How do I connect my Arlo camera to Apple HomeKit?
